When Penny arrives in the Afterlife, she is sure she’s destined for Hell. Or at least, that’s what her Catholic upbringing tells her. But when she gets there, she instead finds herself offered…a job?

As she joins the Hell-p Desk, she must learn to trust others, from her fiery new boss Lily, to Greg, the startingly handsome demon who runs the ultimate level of Hell. And in doing so, may perhaps inch closer to accepting her very own Paradise.

Jaysea Lynn was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and has always been a lover of fantasy and storytelling. After graduating from college, she purchased and lived aboard a 35-foot sailboat for eight years. During that time, she found success with Hell’s Belles, her comedy/drama skit series on TikTok, and gained the confidence to share her writing, which had been a lifelong but private passion. When she’s not writing or pursuing other creative endeavors, she can be found with her nose in a book, going for walks, finding random adventures, or trying to perfect a cup of coffee (with mixed success).
